About Our Client

Our client a well-known multinational pharmaceutical company is currently looking for an experienced and ambitious candidate for the position of Process to Pay (P2P) Manager.

Job Description

  • This position will report to the Europe SSC Director and lead the P2P team in the planning, management and delivery of in scope processes including Accounts Payable, Vendor Management, Invoice Processing, Expense Reimbursement and any other related managerial and decision activities.
  • Manage and coach the existing P2P team in the shared service center. Ensure quality and efficiency of work produced.
  • Ensure proper processing of vendor invoices and payments. Maintain communication with vendors and banks.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and other statutory requirements of the local markets
  • Work with internal audit and senior management relating to Travel & Expense policy, any violations, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate with market Finance Directors to identify and address any unresolved issues in a timely manner
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the P2P function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine. Form strong collaborative relationship with Global Process Owners
  • Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes
  • Monitor the performance and quality of activities performed based on agreed upon KPIs and Service Level agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure that process change directives and other changes initiated by global are implemented regionally

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 6-7 years of experience in P2P/AP processes within multicultural environment, including 2 years of experience as P2P/AP Manager
  • Deep understanding of end to end Procure-to-pay processes and associated technology platforms
  • Very strong leadership skills, experience in managing large teams (25-40 FTEs)
  • Highly developed communication and management skills
  • Long-term, strategically minded - able to develop and implement global strategies related to improving the subject areas
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Experienced in ERP class systems, SAP knowledge will be a strong advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office
