About Our Client

Maintain standard project management documentation and metrics. Work directly with integration counterpart in the business, other project leads, and ongoing operations to deliver successful integration. For the implementation of the projects he will be working closely with the Director of Projects (from Group Operations), cross functional leads and a number of members from senior management team

Job Description

  • Lead all aspects of project planning and execution efforts, working with a team of functional experts from across the company
  • Own and manage the integration budget for assigned projects
  • Monitor status and able to quickly resolve issues throughout the integration process
  • Report on progress to the deal executives and key stakeholders, and communicate important information to all stakeholders
  • Identify problematic areas during M&A activities and be vigilant about getting them resolved before any acquisition value deteriorates
  • Provide expertise and guidance to a cross-functional leadership team
  • Effectively manage projects in a matrix reporting structure through influence, collaboration, and partnering relationships
  • Prepare reports and presentations to Steering Committees Identify and coordinate interdependencies, risks and issues
  • Develop and maintain M&A best practices for the company Special projects as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • 4-6 years of project management related experience
  • Prior experience in M&A Integration is a plus
  • Broad understanding of Corporate functions - Operations, Finance, HR and IT
  • Background working in a PMO environment and a good understanding of Project Management practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support team building; builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members
  • Ability to advocate a creative atmosphere facilitates meetings/workshops
  • Ability to develop cooperative relationships to achieve results through a win-win relationship
  • Ability to establish alliances with other departments and organisations by recognising dependencies in order to assess potential partnership and commitment to the program
  • Awareness of cultural diversity and can embrace and capitalize those differences; applies knowledge in decision-making process
  • International background and willingness to travel up to 50% primarily in CEE
  • Ability to work in a matrixed team environment
  • Ambitious, self-motivated and team player
