About Our Client

For our client, a leading international bank is looking for candidates on the position Senior Corporate Banker for their corporate banking branch in Warsaw.

Within the strategy of the institution to promote business derived from/towards the international markets in the coming years, Bank has decided to strengthen the team with a new job opening in Warsaw.

Job Description

  • Customer acquisition - Large International and Domestic Corporates (strategic for the Bank).
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business transactions.
  • Delivery of value-added financial solutions existing and prospective clients that will help them to enhance their business.
  • Growing and retaining relationships with targeted client group by coordinating all aspects of the client relationship.
  • Developing revenue growth through generation of loans, deposits, fee income and cross selling all applicable bank services to existing customer base, and to identify and solicit bank services to non-customers. Results oriented.
  • Developing transaction banking in as a part of cross selling business.
  • Ensuring interdepartmental cooperation and proper teamwork between product managers.
  • Credit analysis and financial assessment based on Bank's risk criteria, obtaining credit approvals from risk chain, negotiating/preparing credit legal documentation.
  • Monitor, on an ongoing basis, information concerning customer performance, abilities, and industry to determine that existing/targeted exposure is an acceptable risk.
  • Proactively promoting, monitoring and improving products.
  • Possessing extensive network and maintaining broad knowledge of current market conditions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in banking and finance and/ or business administration, management or related fields.
  • At least 10 years of experience in banking sector including at least 8 years of experience in sales area.
  • Possess superior client relationship, marketing presentation, and sales skills in addition to extensive knowledge of banking products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated sales negotiating and successful closing experience.
  • Strong credit training required.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • English language proficiency
