About Our Client

Our client is an automotive company, being one of the global leaders within its sector. Currently, due to their dynamic organizational changes and further investments, they are looking to recruit an experienced and business-driven candidate for a position of Supply Chain Manager. Based in the factory, the best candidate will be responsible for all logistics & transport operations, direct and indirect procurement, planning and customer service.

Job Description

  • Build and manage teams in the following areas: strategic & tactical purchasing, transport & warehousing, planning & customer service
  • Manage and control materials and final products movements to ensure smooth and correct material flow so that all the tasks assigned are performed on time
  • Responsibility for production planning team: material preparation on time, proper production orders real cost material consumption booking
  • Ensure the correctness of logistic processes, updates of documentation and certificates required by law and audit management
  • Coordinate software developments and implementations (solutions like: WMS, SAP, transportation management tools)
  • Run projects implementation focused on productivity and cost reduction
  • Develop processes, infrastructure and set-up in whole supply chain
  • Supervise over the personnel team training & development
  • Plan, calculate and execute supply chain budget

The Successful Applicant

  • Master Degree in Economics, Supply Chain or relevant
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing production logistics in factory in automotive industry
  • Fluency in logistics, warehousing and production intra-logistics techniques and technology solutions (including modern WMS systems) available on market
  • Proven experience from IT solutions development and implementation projects (SAP, WMS, other
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying process improvements in planning, logistics and customer service area
  • Strong customer mindset, stakeholder insight and relation building ability
  • Very good organizations and communications skills
  • Fluency in English
