We are supporting our client in the recruitment of an FP&A Analyst for their newly created SSC in Gdańsk. As part of the global FP&A team, you will support planning, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis for an international business. This is a hybrid role based in Gdańsk, with 4 days per week from the office.

The company is currently building a new Global SSC in Gdańsk and establishing its FP&A, reporting and performance management capabilities. Job Description

  • Support global and regional budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes, assisting with data preparation, consolidation and validation.
  • Consolidate financial inputs from different business units and ensure data accuracy and consistency across planning models.
  • Build and maintain financial models and datasets used in forecasting, planning and performance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and key drivers of performance across revenue, costs and profitability.
  • Support the preparation of management reports, dashboards and presentations for the FP&A team and business stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis on large datasets to support business decision making and operational improvements.
  • Translate financial data into clear insights and structured commentary for internal stakeholders.
  • Use financial systems, BI tools and data analytics solutions to support reporting and planning activities.
  • Collaborate with global and regional finance teams, Accounting, Treasury and Operations on ad-hoc analyses and projects.
  • Contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives within the FP&A function.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis or a similar analytical role, preferably in an international environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling concepts.
  • Experience working with financial data and large datasets to support analysis and reporting.
  • Exposure to financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan or similar planning/reporting tools.
  • Practical experience with BI or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) and their interdependencies.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and curiosity to understand business drivers behind financial results.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
  • Experience in fintech, payments or technology-driven sectors is a plus, as is previous exposure to Shared Service Center / Center of Excellence environments.
