IT Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Information Systems for a global automotive brand in Poland and Slovakia, ensuring adherence to stringent IT standards.
• Safeguard the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of crucial data and information under your supervision.
• Drive the implementation of cutting-edge IT/IS projects in close partnership with plant IT teams.
• Oversee the Information Management System (IMS) process management, including KPIs, periodic reviews, and resource allocation for seamless process realisation.
• Consolidate IT budgets, investments, and project portfolios, optimising resources and ensuring successful outcomes.
• Provide regular and comprehensive status reports to senior management, offering insights into project progress and potential challenges.

Leveraging Microsoft Cloud Services, such as Office 365 and Azure, alongside VMware Infrastructure (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN) and Cisco networking solutions, you will be at the forefront of driving IT advancements and innovation.

Current and Upcoming Projects:

As the IS/IT Operations Manager, you will spearhead the ongoing TISAX (Automotive ISMS based on ISO27001) certification project, ensuring the highest security standards are met. Additionally, exciting projects on the horizon include Windows 2K12 and 2K16 decommissioning, Windows 11 implementation, server renewal, and integration of an Enterprise Management System. You will also provide vital IT support during the merger of legal entities and the next phase of Network Access Control implementation.

Collaboration and Team Management:

In this role, you will collaborate closely with two country leaders, one in Poland and another in Slovakia, to ensure smooth operations and efficient implementation of IT initiatives. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a talented team of IT professionals, currently comprising five employees in Poland and ten in Slovakia, with planned expansion to seven in Poland and eleven in Slovakia by 2024.
