Our client is seeking an O2C Director with a strong financial background and expertise in the end-to-end O2C process within a global, fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll drive change, lead process improvements, and deliver impactful results. The position is remote, with occasional travel to the Warsaw office (up to twice a month).

Job Description

  • Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and procedures for ERP and financial services, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Monitor revenue streams and collaborate with sales and finance teams for effective forecasting and billing cycle management.
  • Oversee accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payment collection and enforcing credit policies.
  • Monitor aging reports and manage collection efforts for overdue accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within revenue and accounts receivable functions, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Work with customer service and sales teams to resolve billing disputes and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to streamline payment processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in partnership with General Ledger Accountants.
  • Collaborate with local Warsaw office departments and coordinate with external auditors and consultants as required.



The Successful Applicant

  • Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).
  • Extensive experience in finance or accounting, with a strong focus on revenue management and accounts receivable, and a solid background in leadership roles.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations, with proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven leadership skills, including team management and mentoring experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English (minimum C1 level), with German being an advantage.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in designing and implementing plans for revenue growth and optimizing accounts receivable processes, including process improvement and automation.
