We are looking for a Procurement Project Manager/Team Lead to manage the transition of the procurement process to BSC in Poland and further take over the management of the transactional team. The position includes the validation of assigned requisitions to placing orders with suppliers as well as maintaining accurate due dates on purchase orders, expediting orders in escalation cases, and resolving quality issues with the supply base.

Opis stanowiska

  • Coordinating projects and initiatives related to transition, this includes managing, planning, and controlling project implementation and schedules, providing and analyzing project-related metrics, and reporting status and progress,
  • Coordinating, distributing and monitoring the workload in a team (daily activities),
  • Responsibility for delivering high-quality services to the organization within the defined scope of services, goals and metrics (KPI),
  • Primary point of contact for escalation in process/operational topics,
  • Striving to improve / optimize processes as part of the responsibility of the component,
  • Conducting and participating in projects,
  • Executing order process (incl. RfX for low value transactions)
  • Contribute to achieve savings and cost avoidance targets
  • Purchasing administration
  • Ensuring data accuracy in systems
  • Leading smaller projects (e.g. setting-up eCatalogues)
  • Collaboration with internal customers / stakeholders

Profil kandydata

  • 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar position within procurement, including a mix of project management/transition and leadership skills
  • Education as Specialist with Certificate of Competence is an advantage / in training for MCIPS is preferred
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office, esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in the execution of RfXs as well as quotation evaluations, in SAP-MM and the S2P Tool is an advantage
  • Experience in managing teams of direct reports
  • Good understanding of IT-driven processes
  • Accurate work in an IT environment
  • Experience in handling interactions with suppliers
  • Feeling comfortable within a complex and fast moving as well as changing environment
  • Resilience and endurance in daily business (administration, order & dunning process)
  • Excellent in team work
  • Proactive attitude

  • Fluent English
