Our company has in USA really popular TV Channel which allows customers to buy products as it is broadcasted in TV. Moreover company have retails stores in internet (web). They do not provide their activities in Poland. They focus mostly in USA and Japan.
They have IT competence center in Kraków, they require to be from time to time in the office.
Job Description
Technical / Functional Skills/Experience:
- Broad working knowledge in Software Engineering leadership is required
- Experience leading a team of a technical nature in a captive location is required
- Deep experience managing agile teams
- Deep hands-on technical expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Experience in Azure, AWS or similar cloud providers
- eCommerce Experience will be an asset
- Experience in marketing tech is a plus
- Background in mobile apps technologies will be a plus
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences or equivalent is required; Master's Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical Team Lead experience leading technical teams.
- Minimum of 3 years managing a Software Engineering team in a captive location.
Budget Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the Director, Software Engineering, GBS to prepare the budget investment in the Kraków Software Engineering team.
Team Size:
- This is a Leader position. Direct reports estimated at 10. We are expecting this Leader to help build our Software Engineering practice in Krakow under the leadership of the Director, Software Engineering, GBS.
