Job Description

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost optimisation.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favourable agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and optimise inventory levels.
  • Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in procurement activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing performance and cost metrics.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Sourcing Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in relocating supplier base from Europe or North America to Asia - essential requirement
  • A degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in procurement and supplier management in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills to drive cost-effective sourcing decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
