I am looking for a top-level Export Director, suited to industries such as furniture, cosmetic, medical, steel and metal, aluminium, who will be open to stationary work based in south part of Upper Silesia region.

Job Description

Your responsibilities:

  • Create and execute export sales development strategies for building systems;
  • Managing a sales budget of hundreds million euros of operations worldwide
  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS, the logistics market, supply chain practice and legal specifications in the EU/outside the EU
  • Analysing foreign markets along with identifying new business opportunities;
  • Undertaking activities to establish, build and develop relationships with business partners;
  • Monitoring the market and the activities of the competition to recommend current directions of commercial activities;
  • Conducting commercial negotiations;
  • Managing the team of the export sales division (commercial and technical positions);
  • Reporting to the Company's Board of Directors.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education (preferably in management, trade or technical fields)
  • 10 years experience in a managerial position in the export sales area (including min. 6 years experience as Export Director);
  • Experience in building and implementing export market development strategies with a focus on non-European markets (experience in the aluminium joinery industry will be an added advantage);
  • Knowledge of international markets, business cultures and trade regulations;
  • Highly developed interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills;
  • Strategic planning and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment;
  • Fluency in English; min. C1
  • Cat B driver's license - willingness to travel frequently on business.
