Job Description

  • Define and execute the Business Applications strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise application roadmap.
  • Lead application modernization, cloud adoption, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to standardize and optimize global business processes.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve business performance.
  • Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value.
  • Manage and govern the enterprise application portfolio, including ERP, CRM, integration, analytics, and reporting platforms.
  • Ensure enterprise applications are secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Lead and develop an international Business Applications organization.
  • Coach, mentor, and support managers and technical specialists.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders across all functions.
  • Translate business requirements into technology solutions and prioritize initiatives based on business value.
  • Oversee application support, maintenance, and service delivery operations.
  • Monitor application performance, service quality, and SLA compliance.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of application availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead strategic programs and projects, including ERP and CRM implementations, business process transformation, system integrations, application upgrades, compliance initiatives, and global rollouts.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with business expectations.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for demand management, portfolio management, solution design, application lifecycle management, release management, testing, environment management, data governance, and security.
  • Ensure effective security, access management, and Segregation of Duties controls.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to technology standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10 years of experience managing enterprise business applications.
  • 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven experience leading international and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience managing global ERP and CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in digital transformation and enterprise application modernization initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
  • Knowledge of BaaN ERP is preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise integration technologies and API management.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Management practices.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven change leadership capabilities.
  • Strong people management and talent development skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and external partners.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
