We are looking for an RTR Team & Process Lead to join a newly established Global Business Services organisation in Wrocław. As part of the core team responsible for building the finance function, you will work closely with the Transition Manager to support the migration of Record-to-Report activities from multiple EMEA locations while shaping future operating standards and team structures.

Job Description

  • Lead and support a team responsible for Record-to-Report activities, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes across assigned entities.
  • Play an active role in the transition of RTR processes from EMEA markets into the Wrocław GBS centre.
  • Collaborate with local finance teams and subject matter experts during knowledge transfer activities.
  • Drive process improvements and help identify opportunities to increase efficiency and standardisation.
  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs and support actions to improve service quality.
  • Act as a key point of contact for RTR-related topics within the finance organisation.
  • Support process documentation, governance, and best-practice implementation.
  • Participate in finance transformation, migration, and automation initiatives.
  • Coach and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and improvement-oriented culture.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience within RTR, General Ledger, Financial Accounting, or a similar finance environment.
  • Previous experience leading a small team / coordinating the work of others and/or acting as Process Owner.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting processes.
  • Experience within SSC, GBS, or international corporate environments.
  • Exposure to process transitions, migrations, or transformation projects would be an advantage.
  • Interest in combining people leadership with process ownership responsibilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Fluent English.
