Job Description

  • Manage and oversee compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws.
  • Ensure the accurate use and implementation of SAP GTS for trade compliance processes.
  • Develop and maintain trade compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide advice and support to internal teams on customs and trade compliance matters.
  • Monitor changes in international trade regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure seamless import and export operations.
  • Oversee audits and assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including customs authorities and trade partners.
  • Lead the team.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of experience and expertise in customs and international trade compliance.
  • Proficiency in using SAP GTS for trade compliance activities.
  • Educational background in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, International Trade, or Compliance.
  • Certifications such as Certified Customs Specialist, Licensed Customs Broker, or Customs Officer.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations.
  • Excellent project management, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong knowledge of global trade laws, customs regulations, and export control requirements (e.g. Product Classification, Sanctioned Party, ITAR, EU Dual-Use regulations).
  • The ability to lead through influence and drive changes in a complex global environment.
