We are looking for an Accountant to join Acrisure's newly developing accounting team supporting Czech and Slovak entities. The role offers broad exposure to accounting processes, from ongoing accounting activities and reconciliations through month-end close and reporting support. Previous experience working with the Czech or Slovak markets, or/and Czech/Slovak language skills would be a strong added value for this position.

Job Description

  • Support end-to-end accounting activities for Czech and Slovak entities
  • Prepare journal entries and support month-end closing activities
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Prepare financial analyses, supporting schedules and variance commentary
  • Review and validate financial data, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency
  • Support management reporting and provide accounting data for reporting purposes
  • Maintain clear accounting documentation and audit trails
  • Cooperate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting queries
  • Identify recurring process or data quality issues and contribute to process improvements
  • Support the transition to Workday Financials, including data validation, testing and issue tracking



The Successful Applicant

  • Hands-on exposure to month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations or financial reporting
  • Good understanding of accounting processes and strong attention to detail
  • Very good English, allowing you to work comfortably in an international environment
  • Experience with Czech or Slovak entities, knowledge of local GAAP, or Czech/Slovak language skills will be a strong advantage
  • Comfortable working to checklists, SLAs and control frameworks
  • Confidence working with financial data and investigating discrepancies
  • Proactive approach and willingness to suggest practical process improvements
  • Experience with ERP systems, process transitions or system implementations will be an advantage
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
  • ACCA, CIMA or another accounting qualification in progress will be an additional asset
