About Our Client

As the regional Competence Center continues to grow, we are looking for experienced experts who will have a real impact on shaping financial reporting standards, ensuring IFRS compliance, and actively participating in audit processes within the organization, on behalf of our client - an SSC based in Wrocław with a strong market position.

Job Description

  • Leading and overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, in collaboration with local CFOs.
  • Acting as a key IFRS expert for regional finance teams and subsidiaries across the group.
  • Reviewing and ensuring the quality of financial reports and IFRS reporting packages.
  • Active involvement in audit processes, including preparing documentation and presenting accounting treatments and IFRS interpretations.
  • Driving implementation projects, including standardization and optimization of accounting and reporting processes.
  • Close collaboration with finance teams, external auditors, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Designing and delivering IFRS-related training sessions for internal teams.
  • Monitoring changes in IFRS standards, interpreting them, and coordinating their implementation within the organization.

The Successful Applicant

  • 4-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit (experience in Big4 or international environments is highly preferred).
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (professional qualifications such as ACCA / CPA are a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, including practical experience in applying and interpreting standards.
  • Excellent command of English (required); additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI).
  • Ability to work in an international environment and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of independence in problem-solving.
