For our client - a global FinTech and insurance platform building a new SSC structure in Gdańsk - we are looking for an experienced International Finance Manager. You will play a key role in shaping processes, supporting acquisitions and ensuring high-quality financial reporting in a dynamic, international environment. The target working model is 3 days per week from the office.

Job Description

  • Ensure accurate accounting for acquisitions and earn-out structures in close cooperation with the International Consolidation team
  • Own and manage accounting related to the setup, structuring and funding of new holding companies supporting acquisitions
  • Manage cash accounting and expense postings across all holding companies within scope
  • Ensure that expenses are appropriately capitalised in line with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Oversee accounting for service companies supporting Acrisure's presence in the Lloyd's of London market
  • Collaborate with the International CFO and Corporate FP&A to support regular forecasting and planning of holding company expenses
  • Lead implementation and roll-out of corporate systems and tools (e.g. FloQast, Kyriba integration with Workday) to automate and streamline accounting and reporting processes
  • Work closely with the International VAT function, providing complete and accurate data to support VAT reporting processes
  • Act as direct line manager for a team of accountants, ensuring high-quality outputs, performance management and development
  • Ensure that all transactions are recorded in line with local GAAP and appropriately adjusted to US GAAP for group consolidation
  • Coordinate and collaborate with local finance teams, external accounting providers, audit firms, and global finance and M&A stakeholders
  • Accurately execute and oversee month-end close activities, including preparation of schedules (prepaids, interest, goodwill, etc.), journal entries, trial balances, and general ledger and bank reconciliations
  • Support external reporting requirements, audit processes and respond to audit queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Contribute to and lead ad hoc financial projects, including process improvements and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure documentation, maintenance and full compliance with internal control frameworks, including SOX-aligned controls
  • Drive standardisation, efficiency improvements and strengthening of financial processes across holding entities



The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS (incl. purchase accounting)
  • 6+ years' experience in accounting, audit or financial analysis (BIG4 experience is a plus)
  • Experience in international or high-growth environments preferred
  • Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with ERP systems and finance tools
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive mindset
