As a Junior HR Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting HR Operations activities related to mergers and acquisitions. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, HRIS, Recruitment, Payroll, and local HR teams to ensure employee lifecycle processes (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) are successfully implemented and managed within Workday and supporting systems.

As the business continues to grow through mergers and acquisitions, they are looking for an experienced HR Administrator - M&A to join their international HR team and support the successful integration of newly acquired businesses.

Job Description

  • Support Workday administration activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, HRIS teams, and acquired businesses to gather business requirements and translate them into effective HR processes.
  • Design, implement, and optimize employee lifecycle (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) processes for newly integrated businesses.
  • Support the development of operating models that combine Workday with local payroll and benefits systems.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and training materials.
  • Deliver training and provide ongoing support to HR teams using Workday within partially integrated environments.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact during transition periods, resolving operational issues and providing guidance on HR processes.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure employee data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation and standardization initiatives.
  • Participate in system testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate on global HR Operations, HRIS, and transformation projects.



The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in HR Operations, HRIS, HR Administration, or HR project delivery.
  • Experience working with Workday or another HRIS platform.
  • Solid understanding of employee lifecycle processes (Joiners, Movers, Leavers).
  • Experience working in a global or multi-country environment.
  • Strong process documentation and process mapping skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a changing environment.
