About Our Client

Our client is a large organisation within the life science industry, known for its commitment to innovation and operational excellence. They are seeking an experienced IT SAP Program Manager to join their technology department and drive impactful projects.

Job Description

  • Lead global, matrixed delivery teams across multiple workstreams to ensure coordinated execution
  • Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams
  • Establish and govern program structures, including steering committees, reporting, and decision-making frameworks
  • Develop and manage integrated program plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risks
  • Ensure successful deployment and integration of SAP S/4HANA across functional areas (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, Manufacturing, Commercial)
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, including testing, cutover planning, and hypercare support
  • Drive alignment of future-state business processes in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with vendors, system integrators, and SAP partners, ensuring accountability and value delivery
  • Lead change management initiatives, including communication, training, and adoption strategies
  • Monitor and control program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and commercial risk management



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred)
  • Program management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe Agile) and SAP certifications
  • Extensive experience in ERP, including leadership of global transformation programs
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple SAP S/4HANA full lifecycle implementations
  • Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, integrations, and legacy ERP migration
  • Experience managing large-scale program budgets and global delivery teams
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills across all organizational levels
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., MedTech, Pharma) and Manufacturing/SCM environments
  • Familiarity with data governance, analytics, AI operating models (nice to have)
  • Experience with SAP cloud environments, particularly RISE and Azure
  • Ability to lead complex organizational change and transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities
  • Experience working in global, culturally diverse environments with high adaptability
