Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesBalance Sheet & Bank Reconciliations

  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line with internal policies
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and aging items
  • Prepare and reconcile bank accounts in a high-volume environment
  • Validate cash balances and clear outstanding items



Month-End Close Support

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
  • Validate financial data and ensure adherence to reporting deadlines
  • Assist with journal entries and reconciliation processes



Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse balance sheet and P&L variances
  • Support management reporting and internal analysis
  • Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with stakeholders



Core R2R Accounting Activities

  • Maintain general ledger integrity and accuracy
  • Support intercompany accounting and reconciliations
  • Assist with accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset accounting
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS or US GAAP



Audit & Compliance

  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements (where applicable)



Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with senior accountants and cross-functional teams
  • Communicate with local and global stakeholders
  • Support issue resolution across accounting and finance functions

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years' experience in accounting, audit, or financial analysis
  • Strong experience in balance sheet reconciliations
  • Understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements
  • Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
  • Experience in shared services or international environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle)
  • Advanced Excel skills
