We are supporting our client in the recruitment of an Senior FP&A Analyst for their newly created SSC in Gdańsk. As part of the global FP&A team, you will support planning, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis for an international business. This is a hybrid role based in Gdańsk.

About Our Client

Our client is a global, technology-driven financial services group operating in a fast-growing fintech environment. The company is currently building a new Global SSC in Gdańsk and establishing its FP&A, reporting and performance management capabilities. As part of the global FP&A team, you will support planning, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis for an international business. This is a hybrid role based in Gdańsk, with 3 days per week from the office (after the 3m probation period).

Job Description

  • Own and drive global and regional budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes, ensuring high‑quality inputs, robust assumptions and timely delivery.
  • Lead consolidation of financial plans across multiple business units, ensuring consistency, governance and accuracy of data within planning and reporting models.
  • Design, develop and maintain advanced financial models and datasets supporting forecasting, scenario analysis, strategic planning and performance management.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial results, delivering insightful variance analysis versus budget, forecast and prior periods.
  • Proactively analyze financial performance to identify trends, risks and key value drivers across revenue, cost base and profitability.
  • Deliver high‑quality management reporting, dashboards and executive‑level presentations, translating complex financial data into clear business insights.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to business stakeholders by providing actionable analysis to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
  • Perform deep‑dive analyses on large and complex datasets to support business cases, efficiency initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Provide clear, structured financial commentary and recommendations to senior management on performance, outlook and key business levers.
  • Leverage financial systems, BI tools and data analytics solutions to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting quality and automation.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Accounting, Treasury, Operations and global/regional finance teams on strategic projects and ad‑hoc analyses.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities, driving standardization, simplification and best practices within the FP&A function.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building FP&A capabilities, knowledge sharing and analytical excellence within the team.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis or a similar analytical role, preferably in an international environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling concepts.
  • Experience working with financial data and large datasets to support analysis and reporting.
  • Exposure to financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan or similar planning/reporting tools.
  • Practical experience with BI or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) and their interdependencies.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and curiosity to understand business drivers behind financial results.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
  • Experience in fintech, payments or technology-driven sectors is a plus, as is previous exposure to Shared Service Center / Center of Excellence environments.
