We are looking for a Senior Manager, International Accounting to join Acrisure's finance organisation in Gdańsk. You will oversee accounting and reporting for multiple international entities, lead a high-performing teams and partner with International CFOs, Corporate Accounting, FP&A and Tax. This role combines technical accounting expertise, strategic business partnership and exposure to finance transformation in a complex, global environment.

Job Description

  • Lead accounting oversight and financial reporting across multiple international legal entities
  • Coordinate and oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery against corporate deadlines
  • Review trial balances, financial statements, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure financial results are complete, accurate and aligned with US GAAP, local statutory requirements and internal accounting policies
  • Maintain strong ownership and governance across P&L and balance sheet accounts, including intercompany balances and reclassifications
  • Oversee reconciliation quality, timely issue resolution and compliance with internal control requirements
  • Partner with International CFOs and FP&A teams to analyse financial performance, explain key variances and connect results with business drivers
  • Act as a senior finance partner to Corporate Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal and Technical Accounting teams
  • Support SOX compliance and coordinate accounting input for internal and external audits
  • Provide accounting leadership for strategic initiatives, reorganisations and M&A integrations
  • Drive standardisation and continuous improvement of accounting processes across international entities
  • Support finance transformation initiatives, including ERP, reporting and data quality improvements
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, building strong technical capability and clear ownership



The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, controllership, financial reporting or a related finance environment
  • Strong experience overseeing general ledger, month-end close and financial reporting across multiple entities
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks, including SOX
  • ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
  • Previous experience leading and developing accounting teams
  • Strong understanding of balance sheet governance, reconciliations and financial control
  • Experience working in an international, shared services or matrix organisation
  • Confidence partnering with senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs and Finance Directors
  • Ability to analyse financial results, challenge outcomes and translate accounting information into meaningful business insight
  • Experience supporting finance transformation, ERP implementation or process standardisation will be an advantage
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, fintech or another complex regulated environment will be beneficial
  • Experience with Workday Financials, FloQast, Workiva or similar finance tools will be an advantage
  • Fluent English and strong communication skills in an international environment
