Our client is a rapidly expanding global FinTech organization operating at the intersection of technology and financial services. With a strong international presence and a focus on innovation, the company is currently building a new SSC structure in Gdańsk, creating opportunities to shape processes and drive operational excellence. The target working model is 3 days per week from the office.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end UK payroll processes across complex, multi-entity environments
  • Oversee benefits strategy, vendor management, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation, tax regulations, and audit requirements
  • Manage pension governance, including contributions, reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Support global mobility cases (payroll, employment tax, cross-border benefits)
  • Contribute to payroll-related M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration
  • Drive system improvements (Workday and integrations), automation, and data accuracy
  • Deliver reporting and insights to HR, Finance, and leadership stakeholders
  • Act as escalation point for complex payroll and benefits queries

The Successful Applicant

  • CIPP Diploma or equivalent senior payroll qualification
  • Extensive experience in senior payroll roles with ownership of UK payroll
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC processes, and statutory payments
  • Familiarity with Polish payroll regulations and multi-country environments
  • Experience in global mobility, employment tax, and cross-border payroll
  • Solid understanding of pensions governance and benefits administration
  • Hands-on experience with Workday and payroll integrations
  • Exposure to M&A processes, due diligence, and integration
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
