Job Description

As an Application Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for business users of ERP systems and other business applications. You will investigate day-to-day issues, help users find solutions and escalate more complex cases to 2nd and 3rd Line Support teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling user requests and incidents related to ERP systems and other business applications.
  • Investigating and resolving common application issues.
  • Logging, updating and monitoring tickets.
  • Escalating complex issues to 2nd and 3rd Line Support teams.
  • Supporting users in their daily work with business systems.
  • Checking that applications and related business processes work as expected.
  • Working with business users and IT teams in an international environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 2 years of experience in Application Support, IT Support, Service Desk or Customer Service.
  • Basic knowledge of an ERP system, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP.
  • An analytical approach to troubleshooting and the ability to find solutions independently.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • English skills sufficient to communicate confidently with business users.
  • An interest in developing your expertise in business applications, ERP systems and business processes.
