In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of IT projects, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners. Depending on your area of responsibility, you may act as an Area Product Owner for key business domains such as Logistics, Deliveries & Procurement or Trade.

About Our Client

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join the IT organization of a well-established company operating in the distribution sector.

Job Description

  • Plan and manage IT projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, milestones, backlogs and delivery plans.
  • Manage project scope, budget, resources and dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and external vendors.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into IT solutions.
  • Act as an Area Product Owner for the assigned business domain.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Manage changes, issues and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, including daily meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Prepare project documentation, status reports and management updates.
  • Support teams in resolving issues and making project-related decisions.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business, technical, quality, security and compliance requirements.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Project Management.
  • Proven experience delivering IT projects in an Agile and/or traditional project environment.
  • Good knowledge of Agile, Scrum and/or PRINCE2 methodologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing project budgets, resources, risks and scope.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and make decisions under time pressure.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project or similar.
  • Very good English - minimum B2+.
  • Higher education in IT, technical, business or a related field.



Nice to have

  • PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or Scrum certification.
  • C1+ level of English.
  • Technical understanding of IT systems and IT architecture.
  • Experience working as a Product Owner or with product-oriented delivery models.
  • Experience in the distribution sector.
  • Experience working with external technology vendors.
