We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer / Data Analyst to support the development of BI, reporting and data engineering capabilities for a regional manufacturing environment across Poland, Hungary, Romania and Italy. The role combines ETL development, data modelling, SQL, dashboard creation and close cooperation with business stakeholders to deliver practical BI solutions for sales, production and machine data reporting.

Our client is an international manufacturing company operating across several European markets. The organisation is investing in the development of its regional Business Intelligence and Data capabilities, with a strong focus on standardising reporting, improving data quality and supporting management decision-making through modern BI solutions.The role will be part of a regional BI/Data structure and will cooperate with a central BI team consisting of a Team Leader, Data Engineer and Business Analysts.

The role can be based in one of the employer's manufacturing or office locations in Poland. Preferred location is Olkusz.

Opis stanowiska

  • Design, develop and optimise data models for BI and reporting purposes.
  • Create and enhance dashboards and reports in Power BI and Qlik Sense.
  • Support the standardisation of BI reporting across multiple countries.
  • Build, develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes supporting regional reporting and analytics.
  • Write, optimise and maintain complex SQL queries.
  • Work on reporting areas related to sales, production, machine data and operational performance.
  • Analyse data and provide practical insights to support business decision-making.
  • Cooperate with business users to gather, understand and translate requirements into BI solutions.
  • Support the transition from locally created reports to a more consistent group BI architecture.

Profil kandydata

  • Strong practical experience with SQL.
  • Experience in building or maintaining ETL/ELT processes.
  • Good understanding of data modelling for reporting and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Qlik Sense.
  • Experience working with data from ERP systems.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical BI/data solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with business users.
  • Hands-on, delivery-oriented mindset.
  • Good command of English for cooperation in an international environment.

Oferujemy

  • Annual salary of approximately 192,000 - 264,000 PLN gross depending on experience and profile fit.
