We are looking for a highly experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to take ownership of critical infrastructure services, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise IT environments. This role requires deep expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication, VMware virtualization, Windows Server administration, and enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS).

Job Description

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize VMware vSphere environments.
  • Manage and support Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related services.
  • Own and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication solutions, ensuring backup integrity, disaster recovery readiness, and successful restore testing.
  • Manage enterprise storage platforms (SAN/NAS), including capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure incidents and performance issues.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk teams, vendors, and technical stakeholders to ensure stable operations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
  • Support security, business continuity, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Act as a senior escalation point and technical expert for infrastructure-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication in enterprise environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and virtualization best practices.
  • Extensive experience administering Windows Server environments.
  • Strong expertise with storage solutions (SAN/NAS), storage provisioning, and performance management.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.
  • Understanding of disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity planning.
  • Experience working with vendors and managing infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive tasks through to completion.
  • Strong communication skills and professional English.
