Opis stanowiska

Key Responsibilities

Own the quality and integrity of all Romania finance outputs across end-to-end processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, treasury, tax, fixed assets)
Lead and govern the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Produce management reports, variance analysis, and stakeholder commentary
Act as the key point of contact for onshore Romania Finance stakeholders
Oversee daily team operations, balancing workload, deadlines, and priorities
Coach and develop a Staff Accountant, ensuring quality and capability growth
Support external audits, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations
Drive process improvements, standardisation, and efficiency initiatives
Play a key role in the Workday Financials implementation, including testing and transition support

Profil kandydata

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred
3-5 years' experience in accounting operations with end-to-end process exposure
Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory capacity
Strong understanding of ERP systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle)
Experience with process transitions or system implementations
Fluency in English (mandatory); Romanian is an advantage
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, controls, and continuous improvement
